I avoided talk
But silently walked
She was by my side
But we had open divide
She had some apprehension
That I had extra marital affair and relation
It was cause for disillusion
Enough to spoil bond and create confusion
She was right in her assertion
That person needs no tuition
Normal child too may know
That holy relation must grow
I thought it better
Silence must be an answer
You must bye time
And respond at appropriate time
I too felt bad at outcome
Its emergence was not welcome
As there was nothing of such kind
She had heard it and was unbearable in mind
“I must reassure” that was conflict
I had no intention to inflict
The mental injury at this age
I was now in control to manage
She too was not sure of resistance
As we were together for number of years
She had no reason to doubt
I talked at length about it
Finally she came around
There was no trace of any such ground
It existed in air and was based on error
But certainly it created mistrust and terror
