When she walks in crying
and you, the culprit, are whying
my anger comes out of hiding
connections with you, I'm all but denying
always with her, I'll be siding
If, like seconds before this situation,
you remove her from the equation
then, you're just sufferable enough
I can dub you a diamond, although very rough
Alas, it's undeniable
my bond with her is much more pliable
and mine with you is stubborn, inflexible
it's oh so fragile, quite easily breakable
These facts, and our lives you callously mishandle
and her heart you've chosen to mangle
embedding my emotions in such a tangle
until subsequently, our ties you do strangle
