The girl who felt too much
Took some pills to not feel
Then everything went still
And the only feeling left was a feeling of numbness
And the sounds were coming as if from outside a big wall
Like driving high up on a hill
Or on an airplane
And so a fortnight went by without a feeling or sensation
And now she missed feeling so she stopped the medication
All the feelings flooded back, there was no restraining
And she started feeling too many feelings again
She started with the pills once more
She stopped with the pills in sometime
Pills, no pills, pills, no pills
Some months went by
The girl felt either too much or too little
And then came the fall
And the girl thought perhaps it's best to not feel at all
Full stop.
