Child like in dance
You romp about in glee,
You live for today
without anxiety.
You have no mind
You live outside,
With your hands stretched
and a smile that's wide.
Noises emanate
from your persona,
Intoxicated deeply;
In fragrance and aroma
Flowers smile at you
Laughing away without aim,
Nothing bothers you;
Not even life's game.
Astonishing me
I note what I see,
In the stillness of it all
You harbour in glee.
Lost in nature's resort
In refuge of peace,
From the doctrine of illusion
I am released.
I learn from you
an epitome of vivacity,
The flower of childhood;
Blossoms in tranquility.
The child in me
With you to play,
Feels free to romp
Dancing away.
No thoughts in ruin
I'm alive as before,
I can't ask again
For anything once more.
We hold hands as infants
The two of us play,
I'm a child, no more an adult
Having learnt to sway.
