Sojourn(revised)
I looked for you upon the
seas
in mountains and forests
temples mosques and churches
carefully
avoiding crowds
busy streets and by-lanes
searching
for solace
peace of
mind in loneliness
aloof
from joys and cares of life
tired of my
sojourn
returned
to find you in my cottage
by the earthen lamp
in my heart
smiling mischievously
at my foolish efforts
.
