Me and Colt grew up
pretty far outside of town.
We never spent much time with other kids
outside of school
and ridin the bus back and forth.
We were lucky
havin an easy ride between places.
I expect we spent half our lives
helpin each other
do chores
or botherin Colt's big sister
or ridin down to the creek with our poles of an evenin.
I expect we were the luckiest two boys in the world.
Though I reckon other boys say the same thing.
Hanque O . . .
