The bible; speaks the truth we need
How Satan, leads astray
Spiritual food, on which to feed
And how to live each day
We must return, to Jesus’ book
Seek out, all God would tell
The truth revealed, if when we look
Can save from death and hell
God’s word is clear for all to see
Life’s plan made all too plain
Life’s recipe will set us free
And give us birth again
Receive God’s word, within your life
Let Jesus plant His Seed
Allow His Spirit like a knife
Cut out the devil’s weed
It’s Heaven’s road, in black and white
God’s map, to show the way
Life’s tactics, how to fight the fight
And keep the foe at bay
Accepting Jesus, as our guide
When Christ we place as first
God’s “Well of Life” when found inside
Will quench our spirit’s thirst
The Lord speaks true on every page
How man should handle sin
God’s strategy; throughout the age
Until life’s fight we win
Don’t leave it idol, gathering dust
But drink each day anew
Give Christ the Author, all your trust
And give Him all He’s due.
