People dont realize.
How easy it is to lie.
Faking a smile everyday.
Pretending to be okay.
People often forget the lies.
And look past the tear stained eyes.
Never noticing the hurt and the pain.
The people that bare so much blame.
People never see past the wall.
Built of stone that stands so tall.
The people behond standing scared.
So afraid their teeth are barred.
People always ignore the girl all alone.
And never glance at the boy with no home.
They automatically assume their just a runaway.
When their just looking for a safe place to stay.
People live in denial pretending theres no bad.
Because after all thats all they ever had.
They'll tell themselves its alright.
While another war rages in the night.
People pretend to acctually care.
Never seeing the weight we bare.
Not looking to see what is inside.
Always believing the simplest lie.
People dont realize.
