Linda Winchell - 'So Much More Than That'

'So Much More Than That'
I'm so much more than flesh and of bone,
I feel the sins of which I have owned.
Prayers to God,
'please remove them from me',
I'm much more than that,
Of what you can't see.

I cry in secret
Of the things I have done,
Not visible to you,
But God knows every one.

I smile and I grin
As if I were free.
There's much more,
So very much more, of me.

You've taken it for granted
I am what I am.
You see me as strong,
But there's a much different man.

I hide in the shadows
Of a past I did make.
I shiver in filth
Of each heart, I did break.

Thank God He forgives me,
He forgives me of sin.
So I need not live,
In this torment I'm in.

Reborn of the King,
He died for me on a cross long ago.
He left me His words,
So that I might know.

So I'm much more than
Of what you can't see.
I'm a new child of God,
He died to give that to me.

So when you look in my eyes,
You now will see a different of man.
I'm much more than that,
I've been cleansed by the Lamb.

***Sometimes we see others and really never see what they might be going through. Get to know people, from the, 'inside out.' You may be surprised what you'll find.
