your face greatly flushed
by the alcohol's touch
you speak with a gloss
being worn by your eye
innocuos as clouds
in your green pupil sky
you laugh much too long
for our menial banter
and you treat unworthy fellows
as god-like enchanters
on through the night
in no mendacious behavior
you leak to us all
that you slept with a stranger
