My best friend
is the person for whom I care.
No matter what the odds
my friend is always there.
My friend wipes my eyes
and helps me hide my cries.
And will always try
to answer my why's.
Without my friend
I'm sad and alone.
With my friend
I feel right at home.
No times have been
nearly complete.
Without the rhythm
of our single heart beat.
I love my friend
with all of my heart.
May we always be united
and never apart.
