You would have loved to play outside with other kids
You would have had the sweetest laugh
You would have loved the beach and sun
You would have loved to be rocked to sleep
You would have loved to be sung to sleep by mom
You would have liked being the youngest
You would have been beautiful when you grew up
And we would have loved to watch you grow
I bet you’re happy there too
That you’re being so loved
That you’re being so spoiled
That you’re playing on a pink rocking horse
That you’re playing in the clouds with other angels
That you laugh the sweetest laugh
That you’re being rocked to sleep
That you love the angels singing to you
That you’re enjoying having a lot of attention from the grown up angels
That you’ll be the most beautiful grown up angel
We may not be able to see you right now
But we know you’re as happy up there
