What a fantastic tang, it was!
Unmatched and unheard of it, to date
Past many a full moons, un-faded yet!
Having had a meal, one may be dreaming
Perhaps for months, if not years!
How come?
Substance taken in to buccal cavity
Constituently, formed of a variety
Of textures, aromas, tastes, numerous
Designed parts and sites, meant to arouse
In and around oral crater
They pass on messages, in infinite amounts
To the Head Quarters, up cerebral bastion
For only lodging identity to each, on a memory chip
Momentarily in a jiffy, via electro-magnetic pulses
Nothing of matter, beyond oral cavity
Only one’s consciousness can call back
What was engraved, invisibly though, up there
One sees feels, smells and munches, once only,
And enjoys the taste psychologically
Perhaps for months,
if not years!
It is only one’s craving desires,
Which are not infrangible, but optional
Keep driving one towards the unique ‘feel’
What a gross illusion, tastes are?
Physique per se, won’t ask for fantasies
Infatuated so much, for fulfilling duties
Though we, mostly
Are after, crazily!
