I never thought I'd see the day
My grandchild would go before me
And when she died, I didn't know what to say
Then the flow of tears suddenly blinded me
My daughter called and gave me the news
I could hear her crying on the phone
What a precious gift for a family to lose
At that moment she felt so alone
I couldn't imagine a baby not moving
When it's warm and cozy inside
This is not something you think about losing
An angel before birth had died
God has taken control of this child
Her spirit has risen above
We won't be seeing this angel for awhile
But her heart has been filled with love
Selena Grace, we will always remember
As we look towards the stars to see
The tiniest star that shines in November
Forever in our hearts you will be
