tried and true
i don't know alot about
this red white and blue
i'm confused about alot of things
this life, this war, this land
but the one thing that i do know
it has ahold of my beloved man
so i listen not to gossip
or the news of foreign lands
but to his voice each time he calls
telling me he's still my man.
