Those times you held my hand
And walked down the isle
Your fake stories about fairyland
And that dazzling alluring smile
You hair always in a bun
And pulling it was real fun
Your harsh words did hurt me
But that was all a phase
You stood by me through fear
And wiped away my dripping tear
Listened to my untold stories
And made me roll with laughter
It’s chance that made us sisters
But love that made us friends
And after all these years of silence
I’ve decided to say at last
“Not suddenly out of the blue
It is true that I love you”
