Alone
And watched by eyes of steel;
To meet with my own as lips, thoughts, screams, lies rise
and fall away into quiescence
You never said a word
I wasn't meant to love again and never did
You weren't perfect enough
And these walls close in with vicious voices, threats and lies
But none are yours and none are mine
I can still hear your heart; feel your breathing as a memory
The first to touch the scars
Steely silent demands escape onto my toungue
The sound of beating wings tearing
Falling away again
Alone
Untouchable yet weak and lost
My screams, thoughts, lies resound in your ears, lungs, eyes
They burn and yet you do nothing
Detatched.
Cold and falling again so fast it takes my breath away
As doors slam shut I'm met by only eyes of steel
You never said a word
