I silently sit in pain
Sadness I feel in my heart
Which I cannot express to anyone as I am completely alone
This silence of mine is never understood
Never understood by anyone.
Only pain I am going through at present occasion
This emotional upheaval is a terrible feeling
It upsets my whole life in every way possible
To leave me stranded among the shadows of darkness
This pain never ever heals
As the heart is actually badly wounded
In more ways than less.
Normally I would start to weep
However, today I am simply expressing the things I feel
As I have got no other way left to live
My poetry is my life, without which I would die
Simply and completely expire, I would.
