Who can describe emptiness?
the kind that is inside an
upside-down bottle,
a cloth which is wrung out - - every
dropp of moisture strangled from its
fibers – left in the sun to wither –
exposed and vulnerable….
Who can describe emptiness?
It is being with you but not
being touched by you…
It is seeing you talking,
but not hearing the words
“I love you”…
Who can describe emptiness?
The vacuum at the pit of my heart…
describes my emptiness.
