I am wearing
a very very
short skirt
and sit
so that
the poor chap
can’t but
help...see up it.
I eager to display
my nice new panties
(bought only that day) .
His discourse:
“On The Origin Of The Spieces”
fa..fal..falt...faltering.
I wait until
his gaze
glazes over
before I accuse him
of looking up my skirt!
“No...I...
...was...n’t! ”
he lies.
I let him
writhe in denial
as he tries
(unsuccessfully)
to extricate
himself
from what he can
only assume
is my displeasure.
It is my pleasure
to see him thus
(and I can see he is pleased
to see me) .
He stumbles with apologies.
I accept his act
of contrition
Before
upbraiding him
for not looking.
Now he is totally
confused
and torn in two
and doesn’t know
what’s what and what to do.
Luckily...I do!
I relieve
his dynamic tension
by removing
the bone of contention.
The panties froth upon the floor.
“Now...” I say
(in an offhand way)
“...just what
are you looking at...now! ”
“And...” I add
“...I hope you are
going to do more
than stare! ”
His Adam’s apple
bobs up and down.
A thin sheen of perspiration
on his upper lip…gleams.
“Oh, come here...”
I say
“...for goodness sake! ”
and take the matter
in hand.
God!
Can anything be more stupid
or more beautiful
...than a man!
