I met an angel she was pure and intelligent,
I met an angel and distance was irrelevant,
Angels are in heaven but this one is on earth,
I’d give anything to talk to her I’d give all I’m worth,
But a demon took her away and locked the door,
Threw away the key now I can’t talk to her no more,
It’s back in Gods hands and I still aint talking to him,
Is this what I get for all of my sin? I can’t ever win.
All I have is memories and a few pictures,
Her last e-mail she told me to read Holy Scriptures,
I’m not trash I’m not I swear it’s the truth,
Whip me, slash, slash, slash, and never cut me loose.
He said I was sneaky and that I was self centered,
He’s got power over an amazing person I remembered,
He said I was a sweet talker and a manipulator,
Man I love your daughter I know you’re her creator,
But please don’t judge a book by its cover,
If my mother had seen what you wrote she would have cried,
The internet seems so barren without you, you aint got a clue,
I don’t need to see heaven because I’ve seen it in you.
