It’s on the run has been for many years
When grief struck and reduced me to tears

You light up my life just like a fire
I’m not a liar but you still feel cold
The cold fire burning breaking the mould
You’ve got me feeling nothing but hate
When you mutter the words 'sorry too late'
You’re the fucking council mate what you want me to do?
Live in your doorway and beg for my food?
You’ve got me feeling why do we bother?
When we find it so hard to see one another
But I won’t love any other except for my baby
I only believe her when she Sais 'I care', she saves me
You’ve got me feeling a strange emotion
I hate her so much what a crazy notion
She gave me life now it all makes sense
It’s my mum again sorry for the suspense
You’ve got me feeling livid for you
Coz you won’t fight for what you know is true
Yes you love her but is your love being returned?
Stand up for yourself coz your constantly being burned
You’ve got me feeling so many things
All the torment that you seem to bring
Living in a world were liars are rife
