The flowers of spring are so welcome
And diverse depending on the place
But it doesn’t matter which flowers
Are grown in their own special place
The colors are all simply delightful
Like a lovely rainbow we see
The fragrances sweet and spicy
And are all so perfect to me
I love the rhododendrons so much
Pink, purple, yellow and red
They grow wild in many places
Do not have to be watered or fed
The hydrangea is just amazing
Its colors too are quite a sight
Big beautiful flowers so charming
In the blazing sunshine they delight
My bulbs sprout in the spring sunshine
Then die down for others to bloom
I simply pack my flower gardens
For they take away all winter gloom!
