What better place to nestle in
Than a unused worn out barn
Left alone to spin a web
She is tucked away from harm
No better home there is to find
Though her senses stay alert
Settled in old musky hay
And dusty ancient dirt
What better life until the end
Once eggs are laid and then
The babies on their own will go
Out in the world to spin
Their own webs and the cycle
Starts once again it’s true
Be careful when you enter barns
A Black Widow spider might get you!
