a quick cigarette
inhale deeply
all you want to but can not...say.
Draw those feelings
deep down inside you
Let them circulate
before slowly
letting it all out.
Your longing
drifts towards me.
Your desire
a perfect smoke ring
that encapsulates
my face
in a broken heart.
“F**k it! ”
(you decide to yourself)
flick the still burning cigarette
over your shoulder
grab me by the shoulders
kiss me
hard on the mouth.
“God! I’ve wanted to do that...all night! ”
Then ravenous
you kiss me again and again and...
