Cold held the morning
and a challenge was made
meetings were held around tables shaped like o-rings
lives decided in an instant
Challenges to system
were questioned
answers were frozen
sealed shut
never to be broken
A bird of white and black
layed in its nest challenging
its off spring
to fly
Like a teacher was in the class room
the students stood silent
history was in session
challenging there mind and the sprites
73 seconds
and the challenge was answered
In a sky of blue
now yellow and burnt orange
Those eight who took the challenge
for a chance at one giant step for man kind
they will forever be remembered
as heros
until a new challenge was asked
and new discoverys
were uncovered
