'This poem is to my grandparents. There loss took a big chunk out of my life. There were days when I thought I couldn't go on any longer. I wrote this poem with not only my feelings in mind, but others feelings in mind, and if someday anyone ever wants to use it for a let's say a memorandum then you can certainly do so.'
The love we have for you is never ending
Even though our hearts are slowly mending
Our smiles are condesceding
With memories of you
Tears on our pillows
For the time we have lost
Grief stricken with the thought
Of being apart without a brand new start
But
Even though we know you are gone
We know your heart and spirit are never truly apart
The loss of you brings great sadness
And also great happiness
With the thought of our memories we shared
I'am no longer scared
For I know that you are there
Watching over us all
With your ever loving heart
And your constant smile
Knowing we are still here
You have no fear
For we are here
And we'll never let your memory
Fade away
Because it will always stay
