Another year gone by
Another wasted minute of life
Another four years
And I'll be outta your life
This year's gone by
With bad times and worse
Just a couple weeks ago
I could have been lying dead in a hearse
I could have had a bullet
Wound to the head
I could have overdosed
And died peacefully in my bed
I could have hung
From a jumbled up rope
I could have took a knife
And slashed my fuckin throat
I could have jumped
Off a building real high
Instead I sat here
And wondered 'Why, why, why'
The only thing that stopped me
The only people that really cared
Where my best friends
All they were always fuckin there
