Theresa Ann Moore - Holding On and Letting Go

2014-06-14 20

Collecting thoughts and putting them in storage
Like summer clothes after balmy breezes have ceased
Like wrapping long stemmed glass in paper tissue
And placing them in seclusion after a holiday feast

Releasing a grip that is reluctant to set free…
The fragrances and flavors of saturated memories
Fill empty spaces with warmth… gone out of reach
Isolated and confined to a vault of yesterdays
