My mind swims with thoughts of his captivating ways.
His magnetic charm was channeled with a sunlit gaze.
His radiant smile fanned a flame that ignited my soul.
Affection soon grew into a love, making me feel whole.
We knew a love like ours would last longer than eternity.
We planned for the future as our hearts beat in unison.
As we shared each breath, our worlds merged as one.
With softly spoken vows, we became husband and wife.
All things seemed possible as we began our perfect life.
A distant breeze was blowing with corrosive ambiguity.
Sunny skies have dimmed from overshadowing suspicions.
A monotonous haze has clouded our promising ambitions.
The embers of love are now abandoned and rest in a heap.
Smiling faces are now non-existent as tearful eyes weep.
A true love is extinguished as it sinks into a sea of obscurity.
