Theresa Ann Moore - Strangers

2014-06-14 2

Why are we so different?
Why don’t we see eye to eye?
Why do we turn away and deny?

As we pass each other we do not identify.
We do not smile or otherwise imply.
Your total existence is just passing by.

You are a stranger with space to occupy.
You are not a friend with whom I have a tie.
As you disappear from my sight, I give a sigh.
