a lonely tear wasnt completed when i lost you,
when we hung up the phone, didnt know what to do,
you said you had to figure out things, and get back to me,
you do realize that i cant wait here forever, you see,
i really do love you, but you have things all wrong,
you said a couple of things in that one stupid song,
i wish that it wouldnt have ended this way,
so i continue to think of you as i lay.
