I am a sinner unperfected and weak.
Tempted by the world and man as I walk these worldly streets.
I care for others more than myself, But what about God who I put on the shelf.
I've never asked what he wants or needs for he has it all. For it is him who makes the rain fall.
I am the sinner who hangs with the wrong crow'd if you ever see me in church I'll never be loud.
They say Jesus hung with the sinners and the people just like me but I'm not like Jesus and probably never will be. I am the sinner You see living all wrong if you ever here me sing don't listen to my song.
I am the sinner that sits in church day after day never getting my mind on the lord and kneeling down to pray sitting and waiting to get this service out of the way. I am the sinner that gets in the service and waves my hands during the preachers sermon and shouts AMEN and living completely opposite once I get back out in this worldly land. I am the sinner who refuses judgment or any rebuke from friend or fellow man for who has the right to judge more than the one who had nails in the palm of his hands. I am the sinner who walks all proud and happy of the way I live my life never once giving thanks to God cause things are going so right.
I am the sinner who never made it to heaven cause of who I am and what I did when I had the chance to make things right for I declared 'Lord I lived just as you did when you walked with the sinners years ago but he said ' They Took up their crosses and followed me and I showed them how to go.
