Ted Sheridan - What the Eyes Fail To Surmise the Heart will Eventually Recognize

2014-06-14 2

I hurt because she hurts though my pain is nowhere near as severe.
With her eyes filled with tears; her heart fears this is all we have left.
The pain of that tarnishes, once bright golden years;
the torture of growing old, has robbed us both
of our beauty and our health. Our wealth spent on our children;
our beauty on ourselves. Oh but had we only seen the writing on the wall….
The truly faithful are the only ones ever to receive it all….
