Relationships are illusions
There's no telling how long they'll last
Some can linger for quite some time
And others just end so fast
Beauty and splendor are illusions
They mercilessly fade with the years
You can try your best to revive them
It will cost money, maybe even tears
Accomplishments are illusions
Today they seem to matter a lot
Tomorrow they'll be lost and gone
Locked away in a dusty, forgotten pot
Life may be the biggest illusion:
A rollercoaster cloud in the air
With a certain yet mysterious shift
From here to who knows where...
