Ted Sheridan - When do two halves of a person equal a whole?

2014-06-14 2

He is quite mad you know
with you wherever you go
a lunatic who only wants to free himself
from this unhealthy attraction
he does not want to mimic your every move
get up at six am and eat
cornflakes out of the box with you
his diet is more devious than nutritious
his agenda is fortified with pure insanity
no sugar substitutes or placebos
he feeds off of the real thing
it is pure fear he craves
there is no creepy music
which accompanies his personal appearances
no organ's moan or frantic beating heart
to shake the rafters of your sanity
not with shrills or thrills does he come
but with just a breath of foul wretched air
you feel his intentional discomforts
heaped on your vulnerable mortal soul
as he steals your joy and takes control
of everything that goes bump
causing you to jump on cue
he knows you inside out
he is quite mad you know
He is with you wherever you go
a lunatic who wants to free himself
Of you
