When devils are let into Heaven,
the angels run and hide
from the slaughter
as Lucipher’s daughter
and son try to show
which of the two is more blind.
When devils are let into Heaven,
they set fire to the clouds,
the vibrant white
is turned to night
where no dark had been before.
When devils are let into Heaven,
they spread their pernicious scourge.
In the ranks of the angels,
the saints turn to danger
and live their days being purged.
When devils are let into Heaven,
Their eyes take on that reddish glint
that lets the world know
Hell is just a stone’s throw
from the claw of a demented imp.
