She was simple, dressed in rags
Adelita Leticia Fortunata
But she had a special gift
That made her everyone’s inamorata
With a gleam in her eyes
Every evening, at seven-o-three,
She would draw them to her side
As she sat under the guanabana tree
And when she started talking
You could hear a pin drop
They would all hold their breath
Until Adelita would stop
She would talk about her feelings
As queen of the stars
And her travels through the universe
From Neptune to Mars
And those who were carrying
The worries of the day
Could feel their stress
Slowly fading away
Adelita’s stories helped them see
The essence of their lives
And how easy contentment could be
If only sensing their own drives
She taught them that happiness
Is not captured in physical manifestations
But by cherishing meaningful moments
And maintaining valuable relations
So till today, in their mind, they can see
Every evening, at seven-o-three,
How Adelita Leticia Fortunata
The people’s eternal inamorata
Would share her happiness theory
Sitting under the guanabana tree
