Don't tell me it's okay to cry, Don't tell me it's not,
Dont tell me to pretend to be kind, when in truth my soul is flaming hot,
Don't tell me to shoot the messenger that relays my feelings to the earth,
Don't tell me it's okay to lie, about how I feel about my own self-worth.
Don't tell me that you care, or even that you don't
Don't tell me that you love me, when the truth is you simply won't.
Don't tell me anything, tell me nothing instead,
As foreward I go, seeking the splendorous wisdom of my life ahead.
I don't want to hear the truth, I don't want to hear a lie,
I want to just live my life, without having to wonder why.
