Pam Thomas - What of Love?

2014-06-14 1

What of love? What value does one place upon love?
Our souls? I think not. It is not ours to give.
What will we sacrifice for it? Our lives? I think not. For
to sacrifice a life is to leave empty handed. What would we
give to receive it? Our inner being? I think not.
For it is a gift in and of itself and can not be bought.
What would we change to have it? Our very existence? I
think not. Time would return us back to our former selves.
Who would we manipulate to gain it? Other lives? I think
not. That is beyond our grasp and would leave us with
frustrated hearts. What does one do for love?
BE STILL.
