I'm not sure what any of this means
Or where the chance occurence
Of a pair of scissors and a sewing machine
Might find reconciliation
In the absurd
Or in Surreal, Dada-like fashion
All because we wish it so
And it utterly refused
To make any sense to us
Kind of like violence
Or days when we
Forget to return our library books
And we all pay a fine
Despite our best intentions
Because we've all checked out
And no one wants to make a proper deposit.
