We send up mighty telescopes into space,
Seeking another Earth
In some Goldilocks zone
Around another star.
Yet here we are
On this little world of ours.
More than two thirds ocean,
All teeming with life.
Great array of mountains,
Grassy plains
Forests high
And Golden sands.
Maldives, Seychelles,
Africa, America, China, India and Japan.
No end to travel.
We have the Love
Of friends and relatives;
A worldwide web
Of social networks.
If only we could unite:
Bring starvation to an end:
One World Order:
All men and women equal,
Genuine Human Rights.
Love is all you need
They say.
Social maturity
Must be the way.
All for one and one for all:
Things as they were
Before The Fall.
