Barry Van Allen - Baggage

2014-06-14 3

I will carry yours for you,
if you dare carry mine for me,
who says that is all there is,
and all points in between ?

I propose a new approach - - -
... let's toss one here and there,
as our train moves slowly down it's tracks,
... let's eject the past , at last ,
and try to see if we are better .

I know that there's a risk involved,
but, I think that we both know,
that nothing ever has been gained,
without potential deadly blows.

As every suitcase left behind,
proves we could be right,
there is the chance ...
that great romance ...
with work and more work, and work again,
... could happen overnight !

I will carry yours for you,
and when your ready, I will toss it ,
Will you carry mine for me,
and when I am ready, will you toss it ?

When we approach the station,
will we arrive as... US,
and disembark to our future life,
without that past discussion ...
- - - ever again ?

If that past would dare intrude,
we would attack it as a unit now,
and reject the ' once before',
because we are now together,
and will be forever more!
