Somebody made a study of it,
and I know it wasn't me, ...
almost every dog in Minnesota,
is named 'Kirby'!
I doubt that dogs in Baltimore
are named 'Cal' or ' Brooks',
although 'Jordan' is a popular name,
for a puppy in Chicago - - -
Pippen works also - - -
You would be hard pressed to find a
' Rodman ' puppy!
Kirby Puckett - died just yesterday!
It is hard enough when life is rough,
- - - Half - Glass full,
- - - when everybody knows, that's not even close,
- - - and Kirby made it seem that way!
I guess that Kirby always owned that smile...
(Not to mention Minnesota!)
- - - and that attitude forever more!
... At 45, to die of a stroke - - -
and we knew that he was going a little blind,
- - - Not many were as good as you were,
- - - Kirby!
