An immense pin-wheel celestial
containing our Orion-arm
solar system, two-thirds
from the centre
moving at
two-hundred-and-fifty
kilometres per second in a
two-hundred-million-years orbit
undulating in a thirty-million-year carousel
bluish-hot clouds of star-forming gas
rippling and spiralling in a thick,
crystal-clear core clustered
with older, cooler
red-coloured stars
where radio-waves strong
are detected, where the dark
gas-and-dust-clouds of Sagittarius
forever obscure the menace of a Black Hole
consuming particles greedily
in a Pac-man game of
astronomical
proportions
