Oh, do not be concerned
if life and love in this universe
is not working out because
it might possibly be
just one of an infinite number
of universes – called the multiverse
in which the choice we did not make
the unrealized possibility
might have been realized
where Romeo married his Juliet
where Violetta and Alfredo
lived in married bliss
where your first romance
actually bloomed
where the love you thought lost
had actually carried you off
into a sunset of joy –
thus do not despair
dance for joy because
the possibility of love’s fulfillment
exists in potential
and your infinite mind
will probably find
a way in transcendence
to gain access to
the alternatives
that you created in thought
thinking it only a mind-construct
whereas all the dreams you have dreamt
plans you have made, schemes you devised
may have gone into fulfillment - somewhere in
the multiverse – given that possibility
I recommend: let’s dream more dreams
cherish our visions, develop our schemes
imagine the fulfillment of every choice
especially the ones we did not make
because we might be creating
a story unfolding in an unknown realm
and what better way to live and be
than knowing the greatness of
infinite possibility?
