I walk along the streets of fate
As a dark blanket engulfs the sky
Rain pouring down with anger and hate
Of which, I cannot deny
My voice buried beneath the storms
And my shadow, invisible to all
Twisted emotions in different forms
Only a few of which I can recall
Lampposts shine a glimmer of hope
And light paths for those passing by
Along the black pavements and slopes
Beneath the heavens up high
The trees and plants shudder away
From the roaring thunder and rain
Longing to seek a new found day
If their existence will still remain
Pricks and needles shatter my skin
Only nature knows how I feel
Brewing senses from a tugging within
For these emotions are actually real
Rain, rain, stay with me
Hide the sun away from my sight
Clouds hanging low, let them be
So I’ll forever stay in night
I hate the sun for its utmost joy
I hate the lies it tells
Let the sun be destroyed
Before it bids its final farewell
Leave me be, leave me alone
Not a fraction of truth remains
Let my life be written on the stone
That forever dwells in the rain
