There is no sense to
A mess of jambled feelings,
A barrier to idealistic situations,
A crushing of stability
It appears that I don’t function to my benefit,
It appears that what should be isn’t,
My mind simply mangles with perfection,
My heart simply enjoys known objections.
Since when is not following the rules, positive?
Wanting what is good for you, undesirable?
Why is it that when the ideal is no longer an illusion,
Delusion forces it to become un-ideal?
I’ve come to the very sad conclusion,
At my birth amorous common sense was brutally slain,
It was rejected and morphed into utter confusion,
That has since been my utmost bane.
I’ll say this once, I’ll say it with pain,
Heart and mind known for insanity,
Keep you on a torturous chain,
Known to cause strife amongst humanity.
It’s best to come to terms now, friend.
It’s best to accept absurdness now, friend.
Best to submit to the supposed imperfect now,
Fear not submission,
Fear the continuation of denial.
