My true worth as a person I never cease to doubt
I too can be quite selfish though there's plenty like me about
There's more to life I do realize than me, myself and I
This is indeed a simple fact and facts do never lie
Those into self promotion can be found everywhere
There are millions if not billions of them in the bigger World out there
Though I'm not into such stuff I honestly can say
I am just as selfish as the rest in every other way
We look at life quite differently on few things we agree
The one you see as successful does not seem so to me
If you look up to celebrities that does suit me fine
But I have to inform you that your heroes are not mine
My heroes and heroines are unselfish people by good example they do lead
They help the poor and needy and more of their type we do need.
