Ben Jacobson - Feast Of Booths

I was paralysed by the fear, as vibrant and oppressive as the pre dawn darkness that I found myself walking through. I could not stop; I had to keep walking, the stillness that had so delicately settled over the city was now beginning to fade, even the darkness ran for shade. Sweet smelling sensations floated upon the morning breeze, Birds awoke from their slumber high up in the trees, still I was far from home. The moon that had once stood so proudly in the black of the night slowly began to fade, fade from my sight. The sky now shone bright with an assortment of colours, the city suddenly appeared to me, still I was far from home. The night that I feared with such vigorous force that preoccupied my mind without remorse, melted away into the bright-blessed day to be warmed by the sympathy of close friends. To hear sweetened coloured words and pure refreshing truths, when you find your way home, you’ll find a feast of booths.
